Director's Notes:
What do you get when you round up six talented actresses, add a whole bunch of country & western songs with a dash of classical music, some great get-ups, big hair, and a whole lotta fringe? You get one foot-stompin', thigh-slappin', hootin' 'n hollerin' musical that will have you laughin' and singin' for days afterwards. What a treat to work on a play like this with such a terrific cast. Cowgirls teaches us that the human spirit can soar when we set our minds to accomplish somethin. It teaches us that some things worth saving are worth fighting for. It shows that there may be a whole lot more to a person that what they present to the world. Whether you like country or not, Cowgirls will make you appreciate that friendship, loyalty and a little elbow grease can go a long way to making dreams come true.

Cast:
Heather Lea Brown - Mickey
Naomi Emerson - Jo
Donna Garner - Lee
Linda Ignazzi - Mo
Erin McGrath - Mary Lou
Jacqueline Sadler - Rita

“Thank you Betsy Howie and Mary Murfitt for such honest truth telling and thank you Lezlie Wade for such fine direction. One of the best, if not the best show I have seen all season.”
